My Life Story was founded in 1999 to produce privately published histories that preserve the most significant memories and milestones of individuals, families and businesses.

Laura Boswell McGee, the founder and president of My Life Story, has held marketing and communications management positions during the last 20 years with Washington Mutual Bank, Merrill Lynch, AT&T and CSX. She has won more than a dozen awards for her writing and communications expertise from during the last 20 years with several Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, transportation and telecommunication industries.

After earning a B.A. in English from The University of Florida, Laura received an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from The University of Georgia after publishing her thesis.

Laura belongs to The Women Business Owners of Northeast Florida and is a member of The Association of Personal Historians, a national organization committed to preserving life histories.
